Farm Trials

R&D focuses on fundamental research as well as practical farm trials involving young calves, piglets, buffalo calves and broilers. The work is undertaken by a team of young-animal nutritionists, all graduates in animal science. To ensure the value of today’s products and of those developed in the future, Nutrifeed has 3 research farms located in The Netherlands. Alongside these dedicated facilities, farm trials are set-up in specific regions to take into account local circumstances.

Besides physiological studies, R&D is also involved in the development of spray-drying technology to improve the quality and physical aspects of dairy ingredients.
