What can you expect from Nutrifeed piglet concentrate?
- Spray-dried whey products sourced from Campina, with balanced protein, lactose and fat levels according to customer requirements.
- Filtermat spray-drying and homogenous blending processes optimise the flowability, the physical appearance and organoleptical properties of the concentrate, leading to good processing properties for our customers.
- Different types of spray-dried oils can be added including coconut- and fish oil. Coconut oil is highly digestible due to high levels of medium chained fatty acids as well as displaying anti-bacterial properties. Fish oil (from salmon) contains a high level of omega 3 fatty acids which supports the immune system of piglets.
- Addition of a nutritional emulsifier with specific hydrophilic properties, for the support of fat digestibility.
The possibility to add specific ingredients, like vitamins, minerals and highly digestible vegetable protein to the concentrates, in order to create an ideal balance between performance and economy.
- Health properties: in addition to high digestibility and the absence of anti-nutritional factors, milk-proteins are also characterised by the presence of bio-active peptides, such as Immunoglobulins, Lactoferrin and Lactoperoxidase, which have an anti-bacterial effect. Lactose is a good, tasty source of energy as well as a perfect substrate for lactobacillus to ferment on to create a healthy intestinal flora.
