Piglets

The growth of global swine herds has increased substantially over the last decade. Home mixers, feed mills and integrators have facilitated this by optimising their feed to achieve the lowest conversion and the shortest time to slaughter weight. For piglets, the objective is to control the health status and feed intake in the period before weaning until 4-5 weeks afterwards. This secures the rapid growth later on. Milk products and easy digestible fats are the essential ingredients for a smooth transition from sow's milk to solid feed.
